There are three distinct types of bespoke glass splashbacks that I create. Each one uses a different glass making technique and are made to commission.

  1. Textured Kiln-formed glass - Casting a single coloured glass onto a bespoke mould to create an effective one off texture.

  2. Coloured Kiln-formed glass - Colour, in the form of powders and solid sheet are applied to a clear base glass.

  3. Laminated glass - Handpainted silks, metals, threads and papers are encapsulated between two toughened sheets of glass.

    The textures created in the glass are all individual. The mould lasts for only one firing in the kiln, therefore no two texture are the same!

    Textured glass splash backs are available in clear, green tint (as illustrated) grey and bronze.

    This glass type can be toughened.

    I make 6mm thick glass as standard for kitchen splashbacks but other thicknesses are available on request.

    I can produce a single sheet to a maximum size of 1m x 2m

    Socket cut outs, templating and fitting services are available.

    Texture samples are available to purchase in the shop.

    This cost will be refunded when order of a splash back is confirmed.

    It just starts with a discussion to establish the brief.
